Hanoi (VNA) – A rowing training center in the northern port city of Hai Phong, quickly finalized preparations to host the rowing and canoeing events of the next 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA 31 games).
The upgrade and repair of the center is expected to be completed in early May.
Vietnamese rowers train at the site to prepare for WED Games 31. They are doing everything possible to achieve the best results for Vietnam in the region’s biggest sporting event held in the country for the second time.
SEA Games 31, themed “For a Stronger Southeast Asia,” will be held in Hanoi and 11 neighboring provinces and cities from May 12 to 23. They will include 40 sports with 526 events and are expected to attract around 10,000 participants. The biennial event was originally scheduled for late 2021 but delayed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic./.
