Jamshedpur Cricket: Harpreet’s all-out efforts help Kadma beat Cable Academy


Jamshedpur, April 23: Jharkhand Cricket Academy beat Ghatshila Cricket Academy by 10 wickets in the Inter Training Center U-19 Cricket Tournament match played at Telco Cricket Ground in Jamshedpur on Saturday 23rd April.

Battling first after winning the toss, Ghatshila Academy were knocked out for 36 runs in 14 overs.

In response, Jharkhand Cricket Academy won the match by 10 wickets reaching the goal in 2 overs.

Master Bishesh Kumar of Jharkhand Cricket Academy was named man of the match for scoring 29 runs from just 8 balls.

In the second game Kadma Cricket Academy beat Cable Cricket Academy by 11 runs. Beating Premier Kadma Cricket Academy scored 126/6 in 20 overs. Chasing 127 to win Cable Cricket Academy could only manage 115 runs from 20 overs and lost 7 wickets.

Kadma Cricket Academy’s Master Harpreet Singh won the man of the match award for scoring 21 runs from 7 ball and winning 2 wickets.

Four teams in two pool categories have qualified for the semi-finals which will be played on April 26 at the Telco Cricket Ground. The 1st semi-final will be played between GVK Cricket Academy and Cable Cricket Academy.

The second semi-final match will be played between Jharkhand Cricket Academy and Telco Cricket Coaching Society.
