Vocational training program for women from April | News from Noida

Noida: The Greater Noida Authority, along with two private organizations, will organize a two-month training program for women starting in April, officials announced on Women’s Day on Tuesday. In a first phase, nearly 250 women divided into five lots will be trained and will benefit from assistance in obtaining employment in electronic companies. In addition, a professional training fair is planned from March 22.
CEO Narendra Bhushan held a meeting with Aadhar Housing Finance and Y4D organization on Tuesday, deciding that Aadhar Housing Finance will use its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funds for the training program and job training fair. The training center will operate from NIMT College and participants will be able to enjoy a hostel during the training.
Meanwhile, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has started preparations to set up a modern skills development center in the Integrated Industrial Township of IITGNL (Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited). At the center, IITGNL, NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) and NICDC (National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation) will jointly train local youths in different trades according to business needs.
The center will conduct research-related work with the IITGNL, and the NSDC will provide technical expertise. Officials said there are plans to set up similar world-class skills development centers in all the states of the Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor.
