The Premier League title race is well underway for Liverpool following Manchester City’s loss to Tottenham Hotspur, but there is still a long way to go, writes John Aldridge.

Liverpool will likely need to win their remaining 13 games to win the league, but that’s easier said than done.

Keep winning and keep putting them under pressure and see if they falter.

Their team is fantastic too, we know that. They bought their team, they bought their success and you just have to accept that they have a great manager who has great players.

But they showed they were human against Tottenham, so when the pressure hits them, who knows.

I gave up on Christmas, when the gap was 12 points I gave up, I said it was over. So that shows you how, in football, things can change drastically.
